Snowy At-Home Service Plan
Many of us Minnesotans have stayed home and are missing church service this Sunday. At the same time, we also know "church" was never meant to be a building - it's always been the people. Wherever you are - at some point on Sunday - we encourage you to gather with us in spirit, on your own or with the people in your home, and spend some time focused on God, in prayer, and being encouraged in faith.
The plan below is very loose. You can choose the order that works for you.

Focused Prayer
Each week, we intentionally prayer around / for one idea. You can pray quietly or out loud.
This week, we encourage you to spend a few minutes praying for financial provision for the people in the city in which you live, for specific individuals you know, and for your own household. Leave space to pray as God leads.
If it's helpful, here are some ideas: Thank God for the ways in which He has provided in the past. Pray that the peace of God would be present, that those in financial stress would be comforted by His Spirit, and that people would lift their eyes and remember the faithfulness of God in every season.
Focused Scripture
Psalm 23 (linked - read aloud)
Option 1: Discuss as a group or contemplate on your own - What stands out to you in this passage that is applicable to this week/month/season/year? What are you noticing that you need in your life right now? How has God provided for this in the past? What might He be asking you to do in this season? Is God asking you to make any changes in your life or is He asking you to stay the course?
Option 2: "Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." We hear the story of Moses in Exodus when God tells Moses to take what was in his hand (his staff) and to trust God was going to use it to free the Israelites from the hand of Pharoah. However, Psalm 23 is not talking about the staff (or the things we have to use) in our hands. Instead, it focuses on the staff in God's hand, saying we are comforted by His leading and His correction. Is there an area in your life that you are trying to use what God has given you to solve a problem when God might actually be asking you to trust Him with ____ (the season, the need, the situation, the relationship, etc)? Consider and discuss.
