Meet Our Pastors
Ted and Lisa Snyder grew up in the Elk River area and loved worshipping and praying with teenagers from many churches across the city. They moved away for high school and college, always knowing they would come back to the city they knew was special.
In 2022, they started a monthly prayer and worship service out of their home, which became a weekly event the following year. In September 2025, they felt God telling them to move to a third-party location, and Mount Hermon Chapel held its first service on September 28th, 2025.
Ted and Lisa have seen unity among the churches in the city as youth, and are boldly pursuing it - with much more ministry experience under their belts - in worship, prayer, and action.

Ministry Experience
Individually, Ted and Lisa each have over twenty years of experience including volunteering, launching worship events and campuses, over a decade on a church staff (Ted), and successfully consulting through a lead-pastor transition.
Ordination
Ted and Lisa are both ordained through New Life Church of Ramsey, Minnesota. They pursued ordination prior to knowing they'd be re-entering ministry, and got ordained through a church that is designed to credential missionaries / give ministry flexibility.
Creatives at Heart
Both Ted and Lisa are Creatives at heart and get so much joy training, leading, and discipling Creatives.
Ted is a songwriter and helped create multiple produced albums. Lisa has written two books and loves to partner with Ted in leading Creatives.
Home & Work
Ted and Lisa are both bi-vocational and plan to stay bi-vocational. They enjoy their work and encouraging others who are also working in the secular space.
They have three wonderful and creative kids - Micah, Joshua, and Naomi - and a pet cat named Loki.
